Thanks to all for making our All Oldsmobile Show a Huge success!
Great Weather, Great Cars, Great People and Great Food from the Texas Roadhouse capped off a Fantastic 2013 Show Season.
With nearly 30 beautiful Oldsmobile's at our show our season closer brought a great crowd to the Roadhouse in Hanover Pa.
As you can see by the photos on the left we had a great variety of Oldsmobile's from a hand made Oldsmobile Railroad Car to an all original 1956 never touched Olds 88.
An all original Oldsmobile Intrigue that was built the day of the Oldsmobile Nationals and a 1940 Oldsmobile street Rod that can and will run on the drag strip with the best.
Our hosts The Texas Roadhouse again out did themselves with sponsoring the Best of Show Pic and Budweiser The Great American Lager sponsoring a trophy too!
Again I will say if you travel anywhere Please stop by a Texas Roadhouse for the finest in food and beverage and a great atmosphere they cannot be topped. Try a Cactus Blossom or Deep Fried Pickles for a start and follow it up with a hand cut filet or steak that you pick yourself. Smother it with onions or mushrooms and I dare you to walk away hungry, Even Vaughn cant do it!!!
Thanks to everyone who participated in our drawings to benefit the Chapter Automotive Trades Scholarship for Vocational Students we believe in giving back to our youth, the future of this hobby.
The Fred F. Parise Memorial Award for the most original unrestored Oldsmobile was won by George in his un-touched never molested 1956 Oldsmobile "88" which shows all you would expect from an original as found vintage 1950's car.
Fred Parise was a Master Oldsmobile Service Guild Member for over 30 years. His career ended while test driving a 1977 Oldsmboile Delta 88 Royal in a severe rear end colission. While he recovered from the accident his career with Oldsmobile was ended. No one ever cared more for the Globe and Rocket. He is proof God loves Oldsmobiles. Sadly missed.
