The Blue/Gray Chapter hosted Oldsmobiles at Macungie August 7,2011 To rain or not to rain that was the question, but rain or shine our fellow Oldsmobilers and families came out to enjoy another great event.
Cars were represented from the 1940's, thru the 1980's. A surprising number of big body cars not with our club turned out for the show. A great selection of Cutlass and 442's were on hand including outgoing President Bob Seaman's all yellow Ralye 350.
You never know what Olds Tony Rusnock is going to be cruising in for the day, but many people were glad he brought his 1975 Ninety Eight Cotter & Belington white and black Hearse. Tony's story of how he brought it back from Tennessee is a event in itself.
Bob and Carolyn had their beautiful 59 Olds convertible out for the day even as it threatened rain form the days start. Temps were close to 90 degrees and about as humid as they come.
We all enjoyed a pulled pork lunch courtesy of Rich & Denise, And hope some of the non members attending will join with us in the coming year.
The Blue/Gray will again host the Oldsmobile Division of Macungie for the 2012 Show if anyone would like to lend a hand, please say so at out next meeting.
If you enjoy the beautiful pictures from our shows past, make sure to Thank our own "Kodak Ken Whitcomb" as he takes the time to shoot stills and video at all our events!
